Goodbye New Brunswick, Hello Prince Edward Island!

Just some pictures from our morning. I started uploading some photos only for it to start raining. Here come a wet couple of days, but rumor is that it’s dry in Newfoundland.

We packed up in Shediac, loaded the truck and headed for the Confederation Bridge, it’s massive.

The first order of business on the island was to source some Cow’s Creamery ice cream. With our tummies filled with dairy, we drove to the north shore to PEI National Park and went for a dip in the water. We ended up spending most of the afternoon on the red sand beach so we opted to camp nearby.

Sylas helped setup camp, and helped with dinner so we had lots of daylight left after eating and cleaning up.

Before bedtime we brought Sylas’ new kite to the beach, but there just wasn’t enough wind. I guess it will have to wait for the rocky shores of Newfoundland.
